My Therapuetic Approach

I offer a safe and confidential space where we can work together to explore any issues, anxieties or stresses in your life, desires for change and challenges in your way.  Often people seek counselling or coaching for a specific reason, however it does not have to be related to any major life event. Although I take a holistic, person-centred approach to counselling, honouring the mind, body and spirit connection, we work with your personal beliefs, values and goals to explore your inner truth and wisdom.

My approach to therapy is highly collaborative. Once I have an understanding of your main concerns, we will come up with your therapeutic goals and begin with evidence-based treatment strategies and interventions. The pace of this is completely up to you, sometimes a session of talking to someone with an empathetic ear who can help you make sense of a situation is all that’s needed. Depending on your needs we may draw on any of the following therapeutic approaches that I have experience in:
